While moms love to eat out on Mother’s Day, they also love to do something special for themselves and their families. From plant sales, 5Ks, and shows, here are five Mother’s Day events for the Granite State mom on the go.
Let’s face it. Moms are always running around so why not make it official and raise money for a good cause? The Zebra Crossings’ Moms on the Run 5K Run & Walk 2024 will take place on Sunday, May 12 starting at 9 a.m. at Dover High School. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join. Proceeds will go to camp programs to support and empower children with chronic medical conditions. Registration begins at 8 a.m. or runners can pre-register online for $25 before the day, or $30 on the race day. Children 12 and under $5.
The 15th Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival will be held May 11, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., May 12, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., Hampton Falls Town Common. There will be over 75 juried crafters and live music on the bandstand.
Mother’s Day Dueling Pianos Show at Luna Bistro, Salem, May 12, 12:30-2:30 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. Two pianists battle it out playing requests and songs of all genres. A special menu will be available for a separate price. Tickets for the show are $30.
Fuller Gardens Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale, May 10 – 12, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Fuller Gardens, North Hampton. If your mother figure has a green thumb she can choose from hundreds of field-grown perennials, a variety of herbs and potted rose bushes. This is a rain-or-shine event and the gift shop will be open for all three days.
Everyone knows moms can read your mind. Well, how about reading hers at the 2024 Salem Mother’s Day Psychic and Craft Fair, May 1, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Derry-Salem Elks. There will be psychics, readers, healers, aura photography, and handmade gifts from over 30 vendors and artisans. Free.
