Representative Maggie Goodlander supported Amendment 1006 to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which restricts funds from being used to wage war in Iran unless Congress explicitly declares war or authorizes it. Goodlander says America’s system of checks and balances exists for a reason.
