Wildfires continue to burn across Canada—and the smoke is drifting south, once again impacting air quality in New Hampshire.
As of July 30, Canada was battling 59 uncontrolled wildfires and keeping an eye on 108 that are under control, according to the National Wildland Fire Situation Report. There have been a total of 3,582 fires so far this year.

Here are a few other ways to protect yourself from unhealthy air:
✅ Stay indoors when possible, especially if you have asthma, heart disease, or other respiratory conditions.
✅ Keep windows closed and run air conditioning on the recirculate setting.
✅ Consider wearing a mask outdoors — N95 or KN95 masks can help filter out fine smoke particles.
✅ Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and help your body flush out irritants.
