Ever get tripped up trying to pronounce a New Hampshire town name? You’re not alone. According to Mental Floss, the trickiest town name to say here is Milan, a town in Coös County. It’s pronounced MY-linn, not like the Italian city.

Mental Floss determined the hardest towns to pronounce in each state from a study by the language-learning site Preply.
