I was 11 when I read the first Harry Potter book, just before the movie came out . I’ve been hooked ever since. So I’m pretty pumped about the new HBO series. In case you missed it, the new cast was announced yesterday! We’ve got to wait until 2026 or 2027 when the new show is released, so if you haven’t read the books yet (or want to do a re-read), now’s a great time to jump in!

Once a staple of mid-20th century American entertainment, drive-in movie theaters began with the first official one opening in 1933 in Camden, New Jersey. By the 1950s, they had exploded .Now, most have disappeared, but a few gems remain. We have two left in New Hampshire.

Milford Drive-In Theatre – Milford
This classic double-screen venue has been around since 1958.

👉  New NH laws aim to loosen alcohol rules, expand social drinking spaces
New legislation is set to make the state more bar-friendly. One new law will allow towns to create “social districts” — designated outdoor areas where people can legally drink alcoholic beverages purchased from nearby bars or restaurants. Another bill, would let patrons bring drinks into restrooms, a practice currently prohibited under state law. Both measures are now awaiting the governor’s signature. (NH Bulletin)

👉 More than 80 summer construction projects could cause delays
