The Democratic Governors Association (DGA) has released a scathing video attacking the records of New Hampshire Republican gubernatorial candidates Kelly Ayotte and Chuck Morse on abortion rights.
The video, titled “Who Will Be Crowned the Losing Candi-Date in the NH-Gov Republican Primary?”, frames the candidates’ records as deeply out of touch with Granite State voters.
The video highlights Ayotte’s record in the US Senate supporting a national abortion ban and her repeated votes to defund Planned Parenthood. It also emphasizes Morse’s role in passing New Hampshire’s abortion ban, including penalties for doctors, and his opposition to exceptions for rape and incest.

The video juxtaposes Ayotte and Morse’s positions with data from Public Policy Polling indicating 64% of New Hampshire voters say they prefer a governor who supports protecting abortion rights. The DGA argues that the GOP candidates’ stances clash with the will of the majority of voters in the state.
“There’s no better way to show Granite Staters that you love them than by protecting their most fundamental freedoms. But under Chuck Morse or Kelly Ayotte, the Live Free or Die state would be a lot less free,” said DGA States Press Secretary Emma O’Brien.
