Calling all Pokémon trainers in the Granite State—there’s big news in the world of Pokémon! From a brand-new mobile game to exciting updates right here in New Hampshire, let’s break it all down.
For starters, five new Pokémon automated retail vending machines have been installed at Shaw’s locations in Nashua, Milford, Concord, and Hillsborough. These machines, which have gained popularity worldwide, exclusively dispense Pokémon trading cards—though be warned, they don’t offer refunds!
Meanwhile, 2025 has been officially declared the Year of the Eevee, and Pokémon International has announced exclusive Eevee-themed merchandise, figurines, and collectibles coming to the Poké Center. Rumors of a brand-new Eevee evolution are swirling, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
In the trading card scene, a rare Umbreon card from the Scarlet & Violet: Prismatic Evolutions series has sent collectors into a frenzy. With a near-mint value of over $1,500, this card has skyrocketed in popularity, sparking a wave of memes and driving up Pokémon TCG sales.
Even McDonald’s is joining the fun! Pokémon Sticker Activity Sheets are now included in Happy Meals across the US. Each pack contains an activity sheet, stickers, a four-card TCG booster pack, and a QR code for themed online mini-games—available until the end of February.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just starting your Pokémon journey, there’s plenty to be excited about!
