JetBlue is terminating all service to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) this summer, according to airport officials.

In a May 14 statement, officials at New Hampshire’s largest airport said they were “very disappointed” to share that the airline is ending its service there. MHT is currently served by seven airlines, including JetBlue.

“MHT has worked diligently to promote JetBlue service at MHT, providing air service incentives, a substantial marketing budget, and conducting various promotional activities to create awareness,” MHT officials said. “Unfortunately, those efforts were not enough to overcome their ongoing business challenges, which have only been exacerbated by the recent spike in jet fuel prices.”

Officials said they will continue searching for new carriers and routes, and hope JetBlue will someday return.

Reached by email May 15, a JetBlue spokesperson said the airline is “making targeted schedule adjustments” and discontinuing service on some “underperforming routes,” with planes being redeployed to routes with stronger demand.

The airline said affected passengers will be offered rebooking options or refunds.

According to the aviation monitoring website FlightAware, JetBlue had just one scheduled arrival at MHT on Friday, May 15. It was en route from Orlando, Florida.

When is JetBlue’s last flight at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport?

JetBlue’s last flight is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, of this year, according to both airport and airline officials.

“While we are making this adjustment in Manchester, JetBlue remains deeply committed to New England, including our Boston focus city and the many communities we continue to serve across the region,” JetBlue said.

Will refunds be available for canceled MHT JetBlue flights?

Passengers scheduled on affected flights will be notified directly, according to JetBlue.

They will have the option to pick an alternate flight where available or receive a full refund to their original form of payment, a spokesperson said.
