Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, has opened a second location for cardiology services, providing patients with expanded options for cardiac care. The clinic is located in the lower level of 15 Durham Road in Dover, just minutes from its freestanding emergency room off Route 16.

In partnership with Portsmouth Cardiology Associates, the clinic will provide cardiology consultations as well as access to a range of diagnostic services, including:

  • Echocardiogram (ECHO)
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Holter monitoring
  • Stress test
  • Stress ECHO

The cardiology services clinic is located in new acility alongside other health partners, offering cardiac care with primary care, imaging, orthopedics and others.

“Portsmouth Regional Hospital is committed to bringing care into the communities it serves,” said Sean Patterson, chief executive officer of Portsmouth Regional Hospital in a prepared statement. “By opening a new location in Dover, we are providing patients with the option of seeing their cardiologist in an outpatient setting, which, for many patients, can be both more convenient and less stressful than coming to a hospital.”

Providers who will be available for appointments include Peter Dourdoufis, DO; Pooja Jagadish, MD; Sarthak Khare, MD; Christopher Lawson, MD, and Samantha Myers, NP.
