New Hampshire Rep. Maggie Goodlander says roughly $7 trillion in federal spending was kept from public view last year through a reporting loophole. The House passed her bipartisan Stop Secret Spending Act, which would require agencies to disclose more taxpayer-funded awards and strengthen public oversight of government spending.
