North Conway has officially earned bragging rights as the best ski town in America, topping USA TODAY 10BEST’s list and beating out heavy hitters like Aspen, Jackson Hole, and Park City. Locals aren’t surprised. With easy access to nearly a dozen downhill, cross-country, and backcountry ski areas, plus a walkable downtown packed with shops, restaurants, and après-ski spots, North Conway delivers far more than just great snow. Community leaders say the recognition reflects the area’s full experience, not just what happens on the slopes.

NH Rep. Maggie Goodlander recently called out President Donald Trump for turning his back on the American economy by shifting focus to Venezuela.
