In a matter of hours, our first-in-the-nation primary will be over. The ads on TV, in newspapers, and our mailboxes will stop. How will you celebrate the First-in-the-Nation Primary on Tuesday?

Like many Granite Staters, I will be going to the polls on Tuesday, January 23. I will be fulfilling my civic responsibility and exercising my right to vote. With the eyes of the nation upon us, I will proudly cast my vote in the Democratic Primary by writing in Joe Biden at the bottom of the ballot and I urge you to do so as well.

We have an incredible opportunity to show the nation and the world that we understand the stakes in this election and choose democracy over dictatorship. Writing in Joe Biden is easy and effective. As a registered Democrat or Undeclared voter, you will choose the Democratic ballot upon signing in with local election volunteers in your local polling location. While the names on the ballot will appear in a different order in every town, the write-in line will always be at the bottom of the ballot. On the blank line, write in JOE BIDEN, and fill in the bubble. New Hampshire’s trusted local election officials will count every ballot, including your write-in vote for Joe Biden.

At a time when divisiveness and disinformation threaten our democracy, your write-in vote for Joe Biden has the power to send a message to the nation that we choose solutions over sideshows. As the only candidate in the race with a long record of working across the aisle and delivering bipartisan wins for Americans, Joe Biden is a president working hard to deliver results for ALL Americans. The Democratic party, like America itself, is a big tent party where all are welcome even when we don’t agree on everything, all the time. I trust Granite Staters to focus on the big picture and our future.

I ran to serve in public office because democracy and thriving communities need all of us to step up, in every way we can, to ensure a brighter future for all Granite Staters. I need to know I’m doing everything possible to provide the opportunity for your children, grandchildren, and mine, to have the freedom to fulfill their civic responsibility and exercise their right to vote when they turn 18 and for many more years to come. That’s why I’m proud to be an active part of the Write In Biden team of volunteers from across the state who have all been working nonstop to have the face-to-face conversations the first-in-the-nation NH primary demands. If you, like me, want the government to stay out of personal, private healthcare decisions between patient and provider, protect reproductive freedom, and prevent a nationwide abortion ban, join me in writing in Joe Biden.

If you, like me, want to protect Social Security, and continue lowering prescription drug prices, join me in writing in Joe Biden.

If you, like me, want to show the nation that New Hampshire knows how to DO democracy and run safe, secure, efficient elections and we’re not going to let any curveballs thrown our way deter us from exercising our right to vote, join me in writing in Joe Biden.

The stakes are far too high to sit on the sidelines and let’s be honest, Granite Staters enjoy participating in our state sport (politics!).

We have the power to give our democracy and President Joe Biden the momentum we need to bring people together for a common purpose in this critical election year, to deliver the future our children and grandchildren deserve, with liberty and justice for all. On Tuesday, January 23, join me, by looking to the bottom of the ballot, and writing in Joe Biden.
