TENDERCROP FARM at the RED BARN
Location: 123 Dover Point Rd., Dover. 603-740-4920.
Cost: $4.79 per pound.
Pickup: Monday, Nov. 25 through Wednesday, Nov. 27 by 6:30 p.m.
Details: Fresh antibiotic-and-hormone-free turkeys. The farm also offers its prepared fixings, including squash, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and homemade pies.

Cost: $6.99 a pound. A $20 deposit is required.
Pickup: Sunday, November 24 at the farm.
Details: This over 100-year-old farm offers all-natural, free-range, pasture-raised turkeys that are humanely processed. “Each year 500 to 700 broad-breasted white turkeys, roam freely on a rotated pasture and get nutritional feed,” according to owner Stever Hurd.
White Mountains

Pickup: Order before Nov. 15; pick up Nov. 26 or 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Details: Turkeys are fresh, never frozen, and have no added water, salt, or oils. Orders can be placed online or in-store.
Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee

Cost: $6.99 a pound.
Pickup: Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
Details: Call to order. “Don’t worry about waking me,” says Dan Bailey, who owns the farm with his wife Millie. Together, they raise 1,000 White Holland free-range turkeys each year. “I can’t sleep anyway.”
Lakes region

Cost: $5.50 a pound $20 deposit required.
Pickup: Call to find out pickup times.
Details: The farm raises White Turkeys that “spend their lives on our green pastures and hills rich in minerals and with plenty of sunshine and fresh New Hampshire air.” The farm doesn’t use hormones or antibiotics.

Monadnock
