US Senator for New Hampshire and Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Jeanne Shaheen went after Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth during his confirmation hearing Tuesday for repeatedly stating that women do not belong in the US armed forces.
Trump has charged Hegseth, a Fox News Host, with leading the United States Armed Forces despite having no experience at the Pentagon, no experience running a large organization, or even medium size organization, and no experience managing a large budget within an organization, in addition to multiple allegations of SA* and misconduct and persistent drinking problems.
