đ˝ď¸ A new bistro is coming to Portsmouth. Local restaurateur Julian Armstrong plans to open a European-inspired, coastal bistro at the former District site on Congress Street. The space will feature natural wines, craft cocktails, and both indoor and outdoor seating, with an expected opening by early fall. Portsmouth Herald
đ° Meanwhile, as New Hampshireâs casino industry grows, so do concerns about addiction. A new statewide council has launched to promote responsible gaming and address rising gambling-related harm. The move comes as sports betting alone has generated more than $153 million for education since 2019. New Hampshire Public Radio
đż And speaking of big industries in the Granite State⌠a new study shows 85% of New Hampshire ski professionals are concerned about climate change. Many say the industry isnât doing enough to implement sustainable practices, even as warming winters threaten a sector that brings in nearly $280 million each season. Union Leader
