This week, we asked readers: Where do you actually get information about candidates before voting?

Here’s what they had to say…

“I do not get information from the political ads and if anything it disgusts me. All they do is attack each other and I don’t believe any of them. I usually silence the political ads. I get information by reading and not social media.” — Dawn Polmatier

“I rely on media sources that I consider to be honest and reliable like The New York Times, CNN, and PBS. I read interviews presented by these sources. I used to watch debates, but political discourse has become personal and mean-spirited recently, so I rely more on what I see in a candidate’s eyes in close-up pictures as opposed to what their mouth is saying. I also try to do some research into voting records where applicable. This may all seem quirky, but this is a very personal process, and it works for me.” — JoAnn Carlson

Political signs are popping up on lawns, along roadsides, and at busy intersections across New Hampshire as Election Day approaches.

So this week’s question is:

Do political signs influence your vote?

By Sam Cohen

👻 Pine Hill Cemetery, Hollis: Known for the grave of Abel Blood, whose headstone allegedly changes at night.

👻 Vale End Cemetery, Wilton: Said to be haunted by the Blue Lady, a mysterious blue light believed to be the spirit of Mary Ritter Spaulding, who died in 1808.

👻 Point of Graves Burial Ground, Portsmouth: Portsmouth: One of the city’s oldest cemeteries, where visitors have reported glowing gravestones and strange encounters near Elizabeth Pierce’s grave.
