Pitchers and catchers have reported to Major League Baseball spring training camps in Florida and Arizona, and full-team workouts have begun for the upcoming 2026 season. Over the years, Seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine has been represented in the professional ranks by players and coaches. This year is no different. Former Portsmouth High School teammates Mike Fransoso and Mike Montville are minor-league hitting coaches with the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles, respectively.

‘Survivor’ Season 50 starts February 25 with a familiar face from NH

Season 50 of "Survivor" is almost here, and according to early betting odds, a New Hampshire woman has a chance at winning it all.Season 50 will be Aubry Bracco's fourth time on "Survivor" after appearances in Seasons 32, 34 and 38, finishing second, fifth and fifteenth, respectively. Bracco will attempt to relive the glory of her early seasons as part of the Vatu tribe, where she will be joined by "Survivor" legends Colby Donaldson and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick.

Meet Robert Browning, the cat buried in one of Hampton’s old cemeteries

Sanborn Cemetery is one of these private cemeteries. Various members of the Sanborn family rest in this plot, with the earliest internments dating from the early 1800s. But two markers differ from the rest. They are for Robert Browning and Little Lady Pitapat. Robert Browning, as stated on the gravestone, was Miss Stanton’s cat.
