About 36,000 households in New Hampshire have enrolled in President Biden’s Affordable Connectivity Program, which provides discounts on internet bills.

The proposed rule would require utility companies to locate and dig up roughly 15,000 lead pipes statewide within 10 years to ensure clean drinking water for New Hampshirites and to protect children’s health.
In New Hampshire, $1.4 billion in funding has been announced, with over 81 specific infrastructure projects identified for funding. Over $934 million will go to transit upgrades, with another $172 million going towards clean water and water infrastructure.
