Granite Staters, raise your glasses! Summer is up and running, and there’s no better way to beat the summer heat than having a chilled glass of beer. It’s even better if it’s locally brewed, and craft!
From Indian pale ales and lagers to sour ales and stouts, there is something for everyone at these New Hampshire breweries.
Open every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., this brewery currently has almost 15 types of beers—including fruited IPAs, lagers, and Kölsch—on tap. With ample outdoor seating, Northwoods regularly hosts musical events and serves bites such as pizza (get a $5 pint while you’re waiting for your pizza to be ready!) nachos, and wings to go along with your beverages.
Keep a tab on their Instagram page to find out more about their seasonal summer brews.
Located in the heart of historic Newmarket, this brewery was founded in 2015 by lifelong Granite Staters Maryann and Frank Zagami. With almost 20 beers on tap, Deciduous also allows for beer aficionados to pre-order and pick up their beers curbside.
The brewery is serving a wide selection of summer flavors such as peach, blueberry, and strawberry-raspberry lemonade currently as part of its summer draft pours.
Looking for a present for someone special ? Consider gifting them a Deciduous e-gift card.
With lots of fun events lined up for the summer—including a “sad AF” emo night and a “pint and paint” event—Feathered Friend’s events calendar is nearly as wide-ranging as its selections of suds.
Mondays are bingo nights, and often you’ll find on the menu “collab beers,” brewed in conjunction with local co-ops or nonprofits to further social justice causes. They just released a special “Love is Love” sour ale for Pride Month!
On tap, you’ll also find a wide selection of stouts, lagers, and ales with quirky names.
Located on Candia Road (hence the name) in Manchester, this six-year-old brewery has some must try options like crispy bubbly kölschs, banana-flavored beer and pilsners (to go with your smash burger!) on the menu.
Their newest brew, Queen City Lagerbier, is a classic 4.5% ABV German-style Pilsner, made in collaboration with Woodstacker Beer Company. Check out others on tap on their website.
The brewery has eclectic bites ranging from tacos, quesadillas, hot dogs, báhn mìs and sandwiches. There are also vegan options available!
In operation since 1995, Elm City Brewing Company in Keene serves everything from American ales and German lagers to Witbier and Belgian Dubbels. Also exciting? This award-winning brewery just released a new food menu, featuring innovative creative dishes like this garam masala pulled pork on mini naan.
Their selections rotate, but they currently have almost 12 different types of pours available that include Pilsners, fruit beer, ales, and kölsch.
